Coffee is one of the most loved drinks in the world, and Dean’s Coffee Company in the heart of Pearl River has a love affair with it. Owners and coffee-lovers Salmira and Sammy Cecunjanin were always in search for the best cup of coffee in the area, but were never satisfied until they opened Dean’s Coffee Company in 2018. Within a few short months, Dean’s Coffee Company has become the neighborhood hangout for fresh, locally grown coffee delivered weekly from lrving Farms.

The cozy neighborhood coffee shop is warm and inviting, with light and dark woods providing a European café atmosphere. Besides the fresh, local coffee, regulars at Dean’s Coffee Company rave about the thick and frothy Turkish coffee, cappuccino, traditional espresso, and teas from Harney & Sons.
One customer, Annabeth Chase, said, “It’s so rustic and enchanting. I love it here. I try to come here as often as possible, and each time I enter the cozy coffeehouse, I am welcomed with the sweet fragrance of coffee and hot chocolate. The owners/workers are so incredibly polite and friendly! I stayed there for almost two hours working on my laptop with a cup of hot chocolate and a chocolate croissant. Pearl River needed a coffeehouse just like the ones in the movies! Keep up the great work, Dean’s Coffee Co.”
Dean’s Coffee Company has become a familiar destination for many to sit back and relax with a cup of Joe, and savor one of the shop’s delightful desserts. On the weekends, you can enjoy peanut-free donuts made fresh from D’Ercole’s Donuts in Northvale, New Jersey. Coming soon: fresh homemade crepes.
“Just like in the show, ‘Cheers,’ I wanted to open a place where everybody knows your name,” said Samira, who is a longtime Orangetown resident. “People of all ages are welcome at Dean’s.”
