On Thursday evenings, be ready to be enamored by the Hudson River Cruise Wine Pairing Dinner. Step aboard The Pelican, right from Pier 701 in Piermont, and sail north while noshing on chef Denis Whitton’s exclusive tasting menu. You’ll enjoy five delectable courses, each carefully paired with a glass of wine. Formally trained as a French chef, Denis will dazzle your taste buds with flavorful courses such as warm Blue Point oysters with pearl tapioca and champagne sabayon caviar and braised boneless beef short ribs bourguignon with smoked bacon, mixed vegetables, parsnips and carrot puree in a red wine sauce.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Hudson Valley’s fall foliage with daytime sailings: choose between a brunch or late lunch sailing on Saturdays and Sundays. Brunch will feature a continental breakfast style, including an omelette station, while late lunch will include a carving station and seasonal menu. Included is one complimentary drink, followed by a cash bar option. Yet another option is a Fall/Winter sail upon the impressive Jefferson, which is fully heated and equipped with a stage which will serve as home to various Broadway style shows, stand-up comedy and much more entertainment.
