About Katie Stoeckeler
Katie earned her B.S. from SUNY New Paltz in Elementary Education and her M.S. from Mount Saint Mary College in Special Education and Literacy. She has ten years of teaching, coaching and tutoring experience, in working with pre-k through high school. She completed her RYT-200 at Jamie Surya Yoga Studio, 95-hour kids Yoga and Mindfulness Certification through Childlight Yoga, and did an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program at the Yale Stress center. She loves teaching children, adults and families the importance of slowing down and living in the present moment at her studio, Peace in Piermont, in Piermont, New York. In her spare time, Katie loves to write, read and create.
