Del Arte in Orangeburg Considered Among the Finest Italian Restaurants in the County

Matt and Scott Nela took over ownership of Del Arte restaurant a year ago, and the rave reviews keep coming in. “We were taken in by the warm charm of the Italian tradition and the intimate setting. Then came the authentic flavors crafted by a highly creative chef. The food was outrageously delicious, and we had a transcendent dining experience,” said one couple from Westchester.

Matt and his brother Scott have been a dynamic duo since they started out in their culinary careers. When they bought Del Arte, they wanted to keep the loyal customers John and Rosemary Carollo had built up and attract new ones looking for crowd-pleasing dishes and wines to accompany them.
“This place is a gem of a find. We had clams and mussels in white cream sauce, and the kids enjoyed their pasta favorites and desserts. They are so hospitable to families, and the portions were plentiful. We’ll be telling friends and family about Del Arte,” said one family from New City.

Hudson Valley Explored named Del Arte among the finest Italian restaurants in Rockland County. “We take care of veterans, and many community organizations have held their luncheons and dinners here. Dominican College staff come here regularly for lunch. We invite wedding showers and other memorable events to be held here. We do catering and take-out orders. Pizza is a favorite too,” said Matt.
Del Arte is located at 20 Mountainview Avenue in Orangeburg. “You can visit our website at >delarterestaurant.com or call us at 845-365-2727 to make a reservation or to arrange a party or special event,” said Matt.
