Wake Up at Warwick Valley Bed & Breakfast
Start your morning at this restored colonial just a few blocks from the historic Warwick main street. Prepare for the day in one of the many beautifully curated rooms, by cracking open a good book in your own private setting, before heading downstairs for a fresh breakfast made primarily from local farm produce and eggs. Pick Fresh Produce at Ochs Orchard
Take a ride through America’s northern farmland and stop at Ochs Orchard, a local fourth generation family farm located right off Route 94. From June to October, you can browse the 100-acre farm and pick your own fresh produce (selection varies by season, call in advance). If it is later in the season, do a little local shopping by visiting Ochs Farm Market for fresh selections of their farm grown seasonal fruits, vegetables, jams, apple cider, and other goodies. Stop for lunch and a caffeine jolt at Caffè À La Mode, located in the center of the Village of Warwick. Stroll Through Main Street
The heart of any small town is their Main Street and that is no different in Warwick. Starting from Caffè À La Mode, walk through the “Railroad Green,” a little park that parallels historic railroad tracks and Wawayanda Creek, continue onward to Main Street, where you find a wide selection of restaurants such as Yesterdays Irish Pub, clothing shops like Style Counsel and Blue, and gift and home decor shops like Frazzleberries. Located in the foothills of the Hudson Valley, Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery is ordained with a year-round shop and tasting room, beautiful outdoor patio area with manicured gardens, orchards for fresh apple picking seasonally and award-winning wines, ciders and spirits. Tastings are held seven days a week and range between $5-$10. Need a bite to eat to go with your local wine or cider?
